Skalka CUP 13 Doubles: Thrilling Matches, an Injury, and a Silver Sensation for Eliška! 🏸🥈

As soon as we handed out the last medals at the Kids' Easter Tournament, the courts at Badminton Arena Skalka were immediately taken over by adult players. Sunday, April 12, 2026, seamlessly continued with another tournament – Skalka CUP 13 in doubles! 🤩

Groups and a Relentless Playoff A total of 14 doubles pairs joined the battle for the podium. The tournament system was fair but demanding: it was played in two groups of seven, from which the best advanced to a thrilling playoff. The matches had huge energy and a great level! 🔥

The Darker Side of Sports Unfortunately, sports sometimes bring less joyful moments. During the tournament, there was an unpleasant knee injury that required us to call an ambulance to the venue. 🚑 On behalf of all organizers and players, we send a huge dose of positive energy, wish a speedy recovery, and a fast return to the courts! ❤️

Another Coaching Success To end the report on a positive note, I have to share a huge personal and coaching success. My trainee Eliška (14 years old) was not intimidated by the adult competition and showed everyone her immense talent. She fought her way to an absolutely fantastic silver medal among the adult players! 🥈 Huge congratulations, Eliška, hats off to you! 👏🥳
